Significant Enhancements in Version 1.2!

UI Improvements

The side toolchest drawer has been replaced with a single parameter view with collapsable segments. You now have control over what portions of the parameter window will appear in the view, as well as the size of the view. The state of the segments and the window size and position are saved with the workstation project and at workstation termination.

The individual band tuning displays have been replaced with a single display that all bands occupy. This allows for much finer control over the tuning bead and for instant comparison of band tunings.

Multiband Save and Restore

The Band Wells and Band Toolchest can now exchange tuning for all four bands and not just one. Saving and restoring all four bands is simply a drag-and-drop operation wtih the shift key down.

Compression Curve Options

There are new compression curve controls that can specify the curve using multiple paradigms.

Gain Below Threshold: this is the default configuration of DynPEQ.

Gain Below Compression: there is now a switch to offset the compression threshold by input level, or along the x axis of the coarse dynamics display.

Rotation Point: the auto-gain switch has been replaced with a switch enabling a rotation point, a fixed point through which the compression slope must intersect.

If you are unfamiliar with these compressor terms, may we suggest this background material from Geoff Martin's omnibus reference Introduction to Sound Recording.
